Antonette Oglesby & Steve Jackson represent Fort Valley State to take the March 1 honors. Roxie Griffin and Oladipo Adeshina of Albany State are the recipients of this award for this past week.

MARCH 1, 2008

Women
Antonette Oglesby (Fort Valley State University)
She competed at the Savannah State meet where she finished first in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.44 m, a provisional mark for the NCAA National Meet. Oglesby also finished 2nd in the Triple Jump with a jump of 11.36m. She also competed on the 4×100m relay.

Men
Steve Jackson (Fort Valley State University)
He competed in the 100m with a time of 10.76 to finish 3rd. He also ran the 110m hurdles in a time of 14.75 and finished 1st, this time provisionally qualifiies Steve Jackson for the NCAA Nationals. Steve also competed on the 4×100m Relay that finished 3rd with a time of 42.66.

MARCH 8, 2008

Women
Roxie Griffin (Albany State University)
Roxie competed at the FAMU Relays and finished 2nd in the 100m and ran a time of 12.13. She also competed in the 400m with a time of 59.82, the 4×100m Relay and the 4×400m Relay. the 4×100m Relay team finished in 1st place with a time of 47.34 and the 4×400m Relay team finished with a time of 4:02.15 to finish in 7th place.

Men
Oladipo Adeshina (Albany State University)
Oladipo ran a NCAA National provisional time of 10.53 in the 100m to finish 1st at the FAMU Relays. He also compted on two relays.
