The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Tennis Coach’s Association are proud to announce the 2008 Men’s and Women’s Tennis All Conference & All Academic.  Highlighting this list is Simone Greene of Clark Atlanta University and DeAndra Reasonover of Benedict College. Reasonover as a freshman, nearly went undefeated in Conference play in her singles matches.  She was named to the 1st team All Conference team and was named the Women’s Freshman of the Year.  Simone Greene dominated the SIAC all season long, taking home 1st Team Singles All Conference Honors, 1st Team Doubles All Conference Honors and SIAC Player of the Year.

For the men, the MVP was also named the Freshman of the Year, Avery Coins of Benedict College. For the second consecutive year, Coach Ricardo Reed of Tuskegee University received the honor of Women’s Coach of the Year while Coach Terry Alexander of Morehouse College received the honor of Men’s Coach of the Year.

All the athletes and coaches will receive recognition and awards at the SIAC Spring Sports Championship Banquet on April 16, 2008 on the campus of Stillman College.
