SIAC places three on All-Region Baseball Team
TAMPA, Fla. - Three SIAC performers were named to the Daktronics All-South Region baseball Team announced Wednesday.
Albany State’s Nathan Coggins was named designated hitter on the first team while teammate Chuncey Ward was named shortstop on the second team.
Stillman’s Chase Wilson was named as one of the starting pitchers on the second team.
Voting for the all-region team was done by sports information directors in the South Region, which consists of the South Atlantic Conference, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Sunshine State Conference, plus independent Palm Beach Atlantic.
Players named to the first-team will appear on the national ballot for the 2008 Daktronics All-America Team.
