The President’s Council of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) and conference office, have decided to cancel the 2008 SIAC Summer Meetings/Kick-Off Luncheon. The event will resume next summer at a date to be determined.

The SIAC will announce the Preseason All Conference Team, Predicted Order of Finish and its national television coverage on July 25, 2008.

Interim Commissioner, George Mategakis stated, “We would like to thank those media outlets, fans, its coaches and student-athletes that have shown support of the SIAC. We look forward to working and seeing all of you in the coming academic year”.
