The Albany State University 2009 football schedule has changed, ASU athletic administrators have announced. The Golden Rams will open the 2009 season on the road against the Chowan University Hawks on Thursday, Aug. 27. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the Garrison Stadium in Murfreesboro, N.C.
Clark Atlanta University offensive tackle Sam McNaulty has signed a rookie free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints. McNaulty fielded calls from the Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Francisco 49ers following the completion of Sunday’s NFL draft, but chose to sign with the Saints.
