The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) will host its annual Football Kick-Off Luncheon on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Cornelius L. Henderson Student Center on the Campus of Clark Atlanta University in the multi-purpose room (223 James P. Brawley Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30314). The time is set for 12:30 pm.
The luncheon will feature head football coaches, players and athletic directors from all ten SIAC football playing institutions. The coaches will provide insight on the 2010 football season including expectations, key acquisitions, and returning impact players. Each team’s coach and players will be available for one-on-one interviews following the luncheon.
In addition to the luncheon, the 2010 Preseason SIAC All Conference Football team and predicted order of finish will be announced. The SIAC television schedule will also be announced during the luncheon.

For the last 96 years, the SIAC has offered an exciting brand of football and 2010 doesn’t look to be any different. The 2010 season will feature a nine-game conference schedule and is set to kick-off August 28th. This year’s schedule is highlighted by several marquee matchups including an early season showdown between Albany State and Tuskegee on September 18th, Benedict vs. Fort Valley State on October 2nd, and the AUC showdown between Clark Atlanta and Morehouse on October 30th.
