SIAC Baseball: Week 1 Players of the Week Announced
Atlanta, GA—Benedict utility player Lydell Moseby is the SIAC East Division Player of the Week and Clark Atlanta’s Delvin Franklin received SIAC East Division pitcher of the Week Honors. In the West Division, Kameron McCreless is the Player of the Week, while Kentucky State’s Joe Dotson was named SIAC West Division Pitcher of the Week.
SIAC East Division
Lydell Moseby, Senior, Benedict

Mosby, a native of Sacramento, CA, hit a three-run home run in his first at bat of the season to help Benedict sweep Virginia-Lynchburg. For the week, he went 4-for-7, batted .571. The 6-foot-6 230 pound senior, who plays third base and outfield for the Tigers, also hit two doubles and scored five runs.
David Franklin, Freshman, Clark Atlanta

Franklin, a 6-foot-1 senior, record his first win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Miles. In the game the Atlanta, GA native only walked three batters en route to a complete game.
SIAC West Division
Kameron McCreless, Senior, Stillman

Playing shortstop the Haleyville, AL native went 5-for-10, scoring four runs, and adding an RBI for the Tigers.
Joe Dotson, Freshman, Kentucky State
Position: Pitcher Height: 6-0 Weight: 175 Hometown: Georgetown
Dotson, a freshman from Georgetown, KY, pitched a seven inning complete game, giving up only three hits and an earned run, in the Thorobreds 3-1 victory over No. 20 Alabama-Huntsville.
