Tom Symonette Named SIAC Coordinator of Football Officials
ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is pleased to announce Tom Symonette as the Coordinator of Football Officials, released on Tuesday.
“I’m extremely excited to be a part of the SIAC,” Symonette said. “I look forward to working with the SIAC and continuing to move the officiating program forward.”
For the past twelve years, Symonette has served as a Line Judge in the NFL and was on the field in that capacity for Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. Three years earlier, he was an alternate for Super Bowl XLV.
“Tom’s distinguished officiating experience will not only be an asset to our league, but his professional relationships will also add great value to our diversity and inclusion partnership with the NFL.” remarked Commissioner Greg Moore.
Off the field, Symonette is Owner and Chief Executive Officer of TBS Accounting and Business Strategies, Inc., a CPA firm he has headed since 1997.

The SIAC is a NCAA athletic conference headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and includes fifteen member institutions (Albany State University, Benedict College, Central State University, Claflin University, Clark Atlanta University, Fort Valley State University, Kentucky State University, Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen College, Miles College, Morehouse College, Paine College, Spring Hill College, Stillman College, and Tuskegee University). The SIAC sponsors six women's sports and seven men's sports.
