Former Tuskegee Running Back Taurean Taylor Signs With Vegas Knight Hawks Indoor Football League

ATLANTA, GA - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is thrilled to congratulate Taurean Taylor, former Tuskegee University running back, on signing a professional contract with the Vegas Knight Hawks.
Taylor's journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and during his five-year career at Tuskegee, the Scottdale native showcased his undeniable talent and versatility. As a key player on the Golden Tiger's offense during his freshman year, Taylor accumulated 197 rushing yards on 28 carries and scored one touchdown in eight thrilling matchups.
Reaching great strides during his sophomore campaign, Taylor led the team with 597 rushing yards and an impressive six touchdowns on 99 carries. An unfortunate injury interrupted play during his junior year, but Taylor's resilience and determination shone through as he made a triumphant comeback in 2022. Once again leading Tuskegee's running back unit, he amassed 809 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 126 carries as a senior.
During his illustrious career at Tuskegee, Taylor amassed 1,655 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 277 carries, accompanied by 13 catches for 114 receiving yards through the air.
