Clark Atlanta cross country competes at GCSU Bobcat Invitational

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. Clark Atlanta’s men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Council Farms Cross Country Course to compete in the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College & State University on Saturday, Sept. 28.

WOMEN'S 5K
Newcomer Lailah Sellers is our top Panther finisher for this week. In only her second meet, she ran a PR of 25:53.0, leading the rest of the Lady Panthers into the 5k. Next, we have duo runners Karon Warren with a time of (29:52.30) and Danielle Thompson with a trailing time of (30:59.8). Zori Caldwell closed out the women's event for the Panthers with a time of (34:10.4).

MEN'S 8K
The Panthers' men's top finisher for this week is again Elijah Hargrove with a time of 29:42.9; coming in behind Hargrove to seal his top 50 finish was Ethan Dorset (35:25.8). Coming through the line together with Nicholas Barnett (36:13.6) and Javion Lane (36:50.2). To wrap up the men's 8k we have a group finish of Kai Revere (38:40.7), Kamari Rowe(38:54.2) and Christion Landers (39:20.5). The men's team finished out the meet 5th out of eight teams.

In two weeks, the Panthers are traveling to Statesboro, Georgia, to compete in the Georgia Southern Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12.
