ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 29, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

Spring Hill) were recognized.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JARIANIS PEREZ, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Sophomore | Jacksonville, Fla.
Perez delivered standout performances last week. Against Savannah State, she led the Lady Golden Rams with 16 kills, 16 digs, two blocks and an ace. She followed up with a stronger showing against Edward Waters, recording 18 kills, 8 digs, 4 aces and a block. Perez currently leads the conference in kills.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – AALIYAH SANDERS, MILES COLLEGE
Defensive Specialist | Senior | Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Sanders recorded 67 digs across four matches last week. She had double-digit digs in three of those matches, including a 27-dig effort in a win over LeMoyne-Owen.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – CAMILLE MCDERMOTT, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Setter | Freshman | Yankton, S.D.
McDermott recorded 25-plus assists in three of the four matches at the SIAC West Division Cluster in Jackson, Tenn., contributing to a series of 3-0 conference victories. She totaled 86 assists over the weekend and continues to lead the conference with 404 on the season, averaging a league-leading 8.60 per set.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – BROOKLYN HALL, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Outside Hitter | Freshman | Geraldine, Ala.
Hall was instrumental in leading the Badgers to four additional 3-0 conference wins at the SIAC West Division Cluster in Jackson, Tenn. Her performance against LeMoyne-Owen featured 13 kills and a .632 hitting percentage. She currently has 184 total kills on the season.
