SIAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Nov. 12

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 12, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Steven Lyles (Spring Hill) and G'Shan Aldridge (Albany State) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – STEVEN LYLES, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Guard | Senior | John’s Creek, Ga.
Lyles led the Badgers through their opening weekend against Sunshine State Conference foes at the South Region Crossover in Winter Park, Fla. He was perfect from the free throw line against Rollins and had a career night leading with 35 points against Florida Tech.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – G'SHAN ALDRIDGE, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Point Guard | Senior | Jacksonville, Fla.

Aldridge has proven to be a significant asset and new addition to the Golden Rams. In the season opener, he guided the Golden Rams to their opening win to kick off the season. Despite the loss to Mississippi College, he finished with another strong performance.
