ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 12, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ATREONIA GARNER, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Guard/Forward | Sophomore | Spanaway, Wash.
Garner logged 31 points through the first two games last week, including a team-high 17 points in a win over fourth-ranked University of Tampa on Friday. Garner followed up that performance with 14 points against St. Leo University on Saturday. She shot a combined 52% from the field, 50% from downtown and 75% from the charity stripe in those two games.
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MIA MOREL, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Point Guard | Junior | Madison, Wis.
Morel helped the Lady Tigers to a 2-0 record in the SIAC/CIAA Challenge, with wins over Johnson C. Smith and Elizabeth City State. She averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1 assist across the games. In the victory over Elizabeth City State, Morel scored a game-high 26 points.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – KENNEDY FULLER, LEMOYNE-OWEN COLLEGE
Guard | Senior | Richmond, Va.
Fuller averaged 13.5 points and 4 rebounds per game in two contests last week.
