SIAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Nov. 19

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 19, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Lavar Miller Jr. (Kentucky State) and Ramar Pryor (Central State) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – LAVAR MILLER JR., KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY
Guard | Senior | St. Louis, Mo.
Miller had a career-high of 33 points, 8 three-pointers and 6 rebounds in Kentucky State's double-overtime win over Fort Valley State. Against non-conference opponent Tiffin he scored 24 points and recorded 5 rebounds and one assists.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – RAMAR PRYOR, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Guard | Junior | Canton, Ohio

Cleveland State transfer, Ramar Pryor made his presence known in two games last week. In the SIAC-opening win over Fort Valley State, Pryor scored 23 points and had 4 rebounds with 2 steals and an assist. In the second game of the week against Division I Wright State University, he finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assist and a steal.
