ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 19, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

Spring Hill) were recognized.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ALEXIS SIMPSON, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | R-Junior | Caledonia, Minn.
Simpson capped a strong season for the Lady Tigers with two double-doubles in road matches against Benedict and Allen. She recorded 19 kills and 12 digs in a loss to Benedict and followed with 17 kills, 17 digs and 3 aces in a season-ending win over Allen.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – HONESTY CAMPBELL, LEMOYNE-OWEN COLLEGE
Defensive Specialist/Libero | Senior | Fort Worth, Texas
Campbell recorded 18 digs and one assist against Lane. She ended her career with more than 1,000 digs.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – ALLANAH DRAYTON-CAMPBELL, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Setter | Senior | Duncanville, Texas
Allanah tallied 76 assists across two matches this past week. She hoisted 43 in a win over Albany State and 33 against Fort Valley on Friday.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – CAMILLE MCDERMOTT, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Setter | Freshman | Yankton, S.D.
McDermott led Saturday's 3-0 regular-season finale victory against Tuskegee with 27 assists. She leads the conference, averaging 8.74 assists per set and is third in total assists with 568 on the year.
