SIAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Dec. 3

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Dec. 3, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Corey Trotter (Miles) and Christopher Hood (Lane) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – COREY TROTTER, MILES COLLEGE
Forward | R-Junior | Augusta, Ga.
Trotter put up an impressive 22 points (on 10-of-17 shooting) 23 rebounds in a three-point road loss at Auburn Montgomery. He tied his career high in points and set his single-game career mark in rebounds. It was the most rebounds in a single game at Miles in almost eight years.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – CHRISTOPHER HOOD, LANE COLLEGE
Guard | Junior | Atlanta, Ga.

Hood helped Lane to a conference victory over Benedict, scoring 22 points while shooting 7-for-9 from the field and 8-for-11 from the free throw line. He added 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists.
