SIAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Dec. 3

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Dec. 3, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Atreonia Garner (Clark Atlanta) and Zhieyah Rolack (Central State) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ATREONIA GARNER, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Guard/Forward | Sophomore | Spanaway, Wash.

Garner registered a 27-point, ten-rebound performance in the SIAC opener against Tuskegee on Saturday. She shot 68% from the field (11-16) and 83% (5-6) from the charity stripe.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – ZHIEYAH ROLACK, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Forward | Freshman | Dayton, Ohio

Rolack continues to be one of the most efficient scorers in the SIAC. Rolack finished the week averaging 14 points per game. In two games last week, Rolack shot 80 percent from the field (12-15). The freshman also chipped in with 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, helping the Lady Marauders to a 2-0 SIAC start.
