SIAC Announces Men's & Women's Tennis Weekly Honors 02.13

ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced weekly honors for men's and women's tennis on Tuesday, February 13. Spring Hill’s Paul-Philipp Kern was named Men's Tennis Player of the Week, and Tuskegee’s Taylor Ford took home the title of Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
 
MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Paul-Philipp Kern, Spring Hill College
R-Junior | Solingen, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Kern showcased outstanding strength and skill at the SIAC Round-Up in Mobile, Ala. The redshirt junior went undefeated in both singles and doubles play, sweeping three of his five opponents.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Taylor Ford, Tuskegee University
Sophomore | Philadelphia, Pa.
A formidable opponent at the
SIAC Round-Up, Ford finished the weekend perfect in doubles play at 6-0. In singles play, the Philadelphia native secured a team-high seven victories for the Golden Tigers.
