SIAC Announces Softball Weekly Honors 02.20

ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced weekly honors for softball Tuesday, Feb. 20. Lane’s Penelope Foote was named Softball Player of the WeekJersey Cabana brought home an additional honor for the Dragons as Softball Pitcher of the Week.

SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Penelope Foote, Lane College
#27 | Utility | Freshman | Murrietta, CA
Foote is batting .483 through 10 games (14-for-29) with seven RBI, nine runs, five steals and three doubles. She carries a .559 on-base percentage and 1.000 fielding percentage in 14 chances.

SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Jersey Cabana, Lane College
#56 | Pitcher | Sophomore | San Dimas, CA
Cabana is 5-0 so far this season with a 2.66 ERA in 29.0 innings pitched. She recorded 26 strikeouts and has three complete games.
