SIAC announces Golfer of the Month - February 2024

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the Golfer of the Month for February 2024 on Wednesday, March 13, naming Savannah State's Jaden Saunders as its honoree.

Saunders won the Division II individual title at the Arcis HBCU Golf Championship at The Club at Weston Hills, February 25-26.  Saunders opened the tournament with a 70, making birdies on the second and sixth holes as he shot for par 16 times.  In the second round, he made one double bogey and two bogeys but made birdies on the first, eighth, 10th and 11th holes and shot for par 11 times. The final round saw Saunders made bogeys on the fourth, eighth and 14th holes while shooting for par 15 times. He ended the tournament with a score of 217 (70-72-75).
