Third annual HBCU All-Star Game rosters announced

ATLANTA — HBCU All-Stars announced official team rosters for the third annual HBCU All-Star Game slated to take place Sunday, April 7, in Phoenix at Grand Canyon University’s Global Credit Union Arena.
 
This year’s game will feature 24 top-ranked men’s basketball players from the 2023-24 HBCU All-Star Game Watch List, composed of 65 student-athletes nationwide. The selected student-athletes will form two elite rosters, named in honor of HBCU and NBA legends Rick Mahorn and Ben Wallace.
 
Team Rick Mahorn features student-athletes from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and Independent All-Stars from Tennessee State and Hampton. The team will be coached by North Carolina Central University Head Men’s Basketball Coach LeVelle Moton and Clark Atlanta University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Alfred Jordan.

HBCU All-Stars will kick off its lineup of events Wednesday, April 3, during the HBCU All-Stars Tip-Off Celebration & Awards Ceremony at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center, honoring select Division I and Division II coaches and student-athletes.
