This weekend at the Doc Anderson Invitational, he moved up to third in the conference hammer throw rankings while finishing seventh in Troy with a record-breaking mark of 43.70m in a field that featured many DI talents. Elliott holds the second-best discus attempt in the SIAC and broke a nine-year-old program record with a 47.06m throw that was good enough for seventh at Troy. Finally, he placed fifth overall in the shot put (14.92m).

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Kiersten Clark, Miles College

Kiersten Clark had a big weekend at the Doc Anderson Invitational, hosted by Troy University. Clark won the 200 meters in 24.81 seconds, .47 second ahead of the field. She took third in the 100 meters in 11.77 seconds, which is top-20 in NCAA Division II this year. She anchored the 4x100 relay, which Miles won in 47.41 seconds, nearly two seconds in front of second-place Tuskegee. Finally, Clark helped the 4x400 relay finish third (behind two Division I schools), with a top-100 time in Division II, knocking nearly four seconds off the previous best time this season.

WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Mykhayla Carroll, Albany State University
