PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — The
Tuskegee University women's tennis team secured the championship title during the 2024 Cricket SIAC Women’s Tennis Tournament, defeating third-ranked
Clark Atlanta University, 4-2, at the Peachtree City Tennis Center on Sunday.
Tuskegee (20-7, 17-1 SIAC) overtook the Panthers (17-7, 14-4 SIAC) in singles and doubles matches to secures its first SIAC championship since 2013.
With the win, the Golden Tigers await seeding for the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championship South Regional.
