ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced weekly honors for baseball Wednesday, May 1. Spring Hill's Seth Williams was named Baseball Player of the Week, and Albany State's Jeremiah Reddell was named Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Seth Williams, Spring Hill College

Williams led the Badgers to a three-game sweep against Miles this weekend with eight RBIs, a double, a home run and 10 runs scored. Overall, he went 7-for-10 at the plate, with his best performance (5-5) coming during the series-clinching victory in game one of the doubleheader on Saturday. In the first game of the twin bill, he opened scoring with his team-leading 11th home run of the season that brought a total of three runs across the plate. Williams then hit the walk-off two-RBI double to clinch the conference series. On defense he was perfect in the opening game of the doubleheader with one putout and four assists in five chances with a double play. He ranks second in the SIAC in home runs, eighth in runs scored, eighth in hits and ninth in RBIs. He leads the league in assists and is eighth in double plays turned.
BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Jeremiah Reddell, Albany State University

Reddell pitched an impressive game last week, securing a win over Edward Waters with a score of 11-1. Reddell threw for five innings, allowing just one hit and no runs, striking out five batters. His performance contributed significantly to his team's victory, maintaining a perfect ERA of 0.00 for the game.
