PITESTI, Romania —
Edward Waters' incoming men's basketball freshman forward Myles Hosten will have quite the summer this year. Prior to donning the Purple & Orange for Edward Waters, the London, England native has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2024 FIBA U20 Men's Basketball Division B EuroBasket Tournament.
The tournament will take place July 12-21 in Pitesti, Romania. Great Britain is one of 21 teams that will be participating in the tournament that will be looking to not only win the title, but look for promotion to Division A of the FIBA European Region. Great Britain is in Group B of the tournament, joining the Netherlands, Great Britain, Azerbaijan, Portugal and Ireland.

A long, agile and dominant player, Myles Hosten chose to stay in Jacksonville to play for Edward Waters.
Hosten played his high school basketball for Edward Waters grad and former men's basketball player Ben Jones at Impact Christian Academy in Jacksonville. During his senior season at ICA, Hosten averaged 15 points, 10 boards, three blocks, and two steals for the Lions.
Last season, during his postgrad year at TRC Academy, Hosten averaged 26 points,12 boards, three blocks and one steal per contest.
Hosten's Great Britain squad will open group play against Ireland on Friday, July 12 at 4:00 a.m. ET.
