OAKWOOD, Ga. — The
Albany State University women's cross-country team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the University of North Georgia XC Invitational on Friday. The Lady Golden Rams were led by Nathalie Rowe, who finished 21st overall, and
Zenay Rhaney, who was close behind in 22nd place.
Rowe's determination was evident as she paced the team to a strong finish, while Rhaney kept Albany State's momentum going with her consistent effort. Both runners helped propel the Lady Golden Rams to a top-five team finish, a promising result as the season continues.

Albany State will travel up I-75 to Macon, Ga., to participate in the Julius Johnson Invitational hosted by Mercer University on Saturday, September 21. The meet is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m. ET.
