CALERA, Ala. — The
Spring Hill College men's golf team opened its season at the Full Moon Invitational, hosted by Montevallo, at Timberline Golf Club on Tuesday.
Spring Hill finished six spots behind the winner and host, Montevallo, who won the tournament with a score of 559 through two rounds of play. The Falcons' Eric Boutwell took home medalist honors with a 14-under score.
Kevin Tobergte (71-76—147) led the Badgers in 13th place with a two-round score of 147, which marked a career record.
Chris Brignet (77-72—149) finished 21st overall out of 44 competitors.
Kevin Kelsey (73-78—151) and
Mats Sletten Larsen (73-82—155) made their collegiate debuts, finishing 27th and 36th, respectively.
Hudson Carr (77-81—158) finished 40th overall.
