FRANKFORT, Ky. —
Kentucky State women's volleyball dropped its home opener in straight sets to the University of the Cumberlands, falling 25-19, 25-12, 25-15 Thursday night at Bell Gym.
The Thorobreds were led by
Kyeana Biggs with seven kills. Her teammates
Amber Gregory contributed with 14 assists and two aces alongside
Justice Mudd with eight digs.
Kentucky State will head to Saint Mary of the Woods, Indiana for a doubleheader with Saint Mary of the Woods on Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 11 a.m.
