ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Cross Country Runners of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 14, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week.

Albany State) were recognized.
MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – BRIAN KEMEI, MOREHOUSE COLLEGE
Senior | Eldoret, Kenya
Kemei crossed the line first at the CAU Panther Cross Country Invitational with a time of 26:13.9 (5:16.6/mile), leading Morehouse to a first-place finish in the six-team meet that featured 44 participants.
WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – BREA VANN, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Freshman | Smyrna, Tenn.
Vann continued to impress as a standout performer for the Lady Golden Rams, leading the team to a second-place finish at the Warhawk Invitational. Vann finished third overall with a time of 19:31.9, setting the pace early and maintaining strong momentum throughout the race. Her consistent performance and leadership as a first-year runner have been instrumental in Albany State’s success this season.
