SIAC Cross Country Weekly Honors: Oct. 21

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Cross Country Runners of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 21, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week. Jaden-Wayne McPherson (Savannah State) and Jamea Lindley (Allen) were recognized.

MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – JADEN-WAYNE MCPHERSON, SAVANNAH STATE UNIVERSITY
Freshman | Ellenwood, Ga.
McPherson led Savannah State to a first-place finish in the Harden Street Challenge hosted by Benedict College. He finished the 5K in 17:48.90.

WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – JAMEA LINDLEY, ALLEN UNIVERSITY
Sophomore | Decatur, Ga.
Lindley second in the Harden Street Challenge last week. She broke the AU school record with a time of 22:37:87 in the 5K meet.
