SIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors: Nov. 18

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 18, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Keshawn Evans (Edward Waters) and Danny Delgardo III (Fort Valley State) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KESHAWN EVANS, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Forward | Junior | Atlanta, Ga.
Evans played fantastically in his first two games for EWU, helping the Tigers go 1-1 at the 2025 South Regional Crossover hosted by Valdosta State. He averaged 20.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks while shooting 75% (12-16 FGs) from the field and 81% (17-21 FTs) from the foul line on 35.5 minutes per game. Evans scored 24 points with 17 rebounds, four steals and four assists in a 85-70 loss to Valdosta State and followed with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 78-58 victory over Florida Tech.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – DANNY DELGARDO III, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Guard | Freshman | Tampa, Fla.
Delgardo III was a playmaker for the Wildcats in their season opening win over Rollins College. He netted 27 points including a three-point game winning bucket to seal the 76-74 win. Delgardo III shot for almost 45% from field goal range with a 40% effort from beyond the arc. He also added an impressive 5-for-7 effort from the free-throw line while adding three rebounds and a steal.
