SIAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors: Nov. 18

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 18, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Atreonia Garner (Clark Atlanta) and Libby Geisler (Spring Hill) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ATREONIA GARNER, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Guard/Forward | Junior | Spanaway, Wash.
Garner scored a game-high 41 points in the season opener against Mississippi College. She went 17-22 from the field, 7-of-8 from the free throw line, and pulled down six rebounds. Garner followed up with a 21-point performance against West Alabama. She went 7-of-15 from the field, 1-of-2 from three-point range, 6-of-8 from the charity stripe. Garner also grabbed eight rebounds.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – LIBBY GEISLER, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Guard | Freshman | Birmingham, Ala.
Geisler made noise in her debut this weekend during the 2025 GSC-SIAC Women's Basketball Crossover in Mobile. She totaled 32 points across two games against Gulf South opponents West Alabama and Mississippi College. She led the way with 23 points on 6-of-10 shooting, eight rebounds, a block and an assist in the 67-59 win over the Choctaws.
