SIAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors: Nov. 18

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 18, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week. Dakotah Holmes (Fort Valley State), Imani Stokes (Fort Valley State), Morgan Hebert (Fort Valley State) and Josiya Teague (Albany State) were recognized.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – DAKOTAH HOLMES, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Sophomore | Hampton, Ga.
Holmes was an offensive powerhouse for the Wildcats in their two sweeps this week. She tallied 23 kills for a hitting percentage of .301. She added a solo block and three block assists to her net game while adding 22 digs in the back row.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – IMANI STOKES, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Middle Blocker | Senior | Indianapolis, Ind.
Stokes was an absolute wall at the net for the Wildcats in their two sweeps. She recorded eight block assists and two solo blocks for 10 total blocks through six sets of work. Stokes was also a major offensive contributor with 18 kills hitting .263.

SETTER OF THE WEEK – MORGAN HEBERT, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter | Senior | Fresno, Calif.
Hebert powered a successful Wildcat offense through two, three-set matches. She tallied 54 assists to lead the team while adding two solo blocks and four block assists to her front row efforts. In the back row, she recorded 14 digs.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – JOSIYA TEAGUE, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter/Right Side | Freshman | Tampa, Fla.
Teague led the Lady Golden Rams in kills on multiple nights, highlighted by several dominant performances where she controlled the offensive tempo from start to finish. Her power, precision, and improved efficiency made her a constant threat to opposing defenses. Teague also contributed significantly at the service line and on defense, showing her growth as a complete six-rotation player. Her consistency and competitive fire were crucial components of Albany State’s conference success.
