MOBILE, Ala. — The
Spring Hill College volleyball team won its seventh-straight Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship after defeating No. 1E-seeded
Fort Valley State 3-2 (25-18, 19-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-6) at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Saturday to close out the 2025 SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship presented by Toyota.
The No. 1W-seeded Badgers (26-5, 19-0 SIAC) and Wildcats (25-5, 17-2 SIAC) traded momentum through five sets. Spring Hill won the opening set behind .235 hitting while holding FVSU to .121 offense.
Fort Valley State answered in set two to knot the match. SHC eked out a tight third set, only to see the Wildcats force set five with a similar win in the fourth frame.
In the final set, Spring Hill jumped ahead early and never looked back, posting a dominant 15-6 finish to clinch its seventh SIAC championship in a row.
