SIAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors: Nov. 4

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 4, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week. Benaye Kyle (Fort Valley State), Imani Stokes (Fort Valley State), Morgan Hebert (Fort Valley State) and Maya Hendricks (Central State) were recognized.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BENAYE KYLE, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist | Senior | Birmingham, Ala.
Kyle had the hot swing leading the offense through an undefeated week. She had 64 kills and averaged a double-double adding 35 kills to her weekly stats. She also added six service aces and three block assists.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – IMANI STOKES, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Middle Blocker | Senior | Indianapolis, Ind.
Stokes was a force to be reckoned with at the net for the Wildcats. She recorded six solo blocks and nine block assists. Stokes also added some offense notching 24 kills.

SETTER OF THE WEEK – MORGAN HEBERT, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter | Senior | Fresno, Calif.
Hebert paced the Wildcat offense in their undefeated week. She tallied an impressive 131 assists through three matches. Hebert also added stellar numbers at the net with two solo blocks and six block assists. Hebert notched a double-double in all three matches this week adding 33 digs to her week. She also had four service aces.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – MAYA HENDRICKS, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Junior | Columbus, Ohio
Hendricks continues to establish herself as one of the outstanding stars in the SIAC. Over three matches, Hendricks posted 34 kills, 41 digs, three service aces, and two blocks, proving her ability to influence the game in every phase. She recorded double-digit kills and double-digit digs in multiple matches, demonstrating both offensive power and defensive reliability well beyond her years. Hendricks' poise, consistency, and all-around skill set have quickly made her a cornerstone of the Marauder lineup and one of the league's most exciting newcomers.
