COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Division 2 Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) has announced its Football All-Super Region Two team, with Benedict College defensive lineman Israel Nwokocha earning first-team honors, while linebacker Ty'Metrius Patterson and return specialist Jaxon Williams were named to the second team.

He also ranked first in the SIAC and 11th nationally in sacks, averaging 1.25 per game. He finished the season with 77 total tackles (40 solo, 37 assisted), 30 tackles for loss for -119 yards, and 12 sacks for -83 yards.

Along with being named All-SIAC, Nwokocha was recently named to a finalist for HBCU Defensive Player of the Year by HBCU Go, as well as an honorable mention HBCU All-American. As a first-team selection, Nwokocha will now advance to D2CCA All-American the national ballot.

Patterson was a second-team All-SIAC selection at linebacker. He was one of the most devastating tacklers in Division II this season, finishing with 54 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss for -105 yards, and 10 sacks for -67 yards. He ranked 13th in the nation in tackles for loss, and 12th in sacks. He also forced four fumbles, which ranked seventh in the nation.

Williams continues to be one of the most electrifying return specialists in Division II. This season, he averaged 36.1 yards per kickoff return, which ranked second in the nation, including returning two for touchdowns, which ranked third in the nation. He is a two-time HBCU All-American honorable mention selection.
