HOW IT HAPPENED
- Janiah Caples poured in seven first-quarter points as the Lady Panthers controlled momentum early with a 26-15 advantage heading into the second frame.
- The Lady Panthers caught fire from three point range in the second quarter as Caples and Trinity Jones combined for 5-of-8 shooting from downtown, cruising to a 51-26 advantage going into the intermission.
- Clark Atlanta continued to lay it on in the third as they used a 52% (9-of-17) shooting third frame to swell their lead to 42 points heading into the final frame.
- Keyra Peterson sank a pair of free throws to cap off the Lady Panthers largest margin of victory this season at 81-46.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Trinity Jones led all scorers with a game-high 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor, 5-of-8 from three-point range, and a perfect 3-for-3 from the foul line.
- Janiah Caples added 18 points of her own, followed by Atreonia Garner with points in the win.
- Clark Atlanta shot 46.9% from the floor, 37.5% from long range, and 66.7% from the charity stripe.
- The Panthers outrebounded the Badgers 40-37 while also outsourcing them down low with 40-22 scoring in the paint.
