ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Dec. 9, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.

Jadyn Shider earned recognition as both Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week.
PLAYER/NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – JADYN SHIDER, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Forward | Senior | Albany, Ga.
Shider averaged 17.0 points per game across two wins for the Panthers last week. He opened with a 15-point performance in Thursday's victory over Albany State, then followed with a double-double — 19 points and 13 rebounds — in Saturday's win over Spring Hill. He shot 62.5% (5-of-8) from the field against ASU and 70% (7-of-10) against Spring Hill.
