SIAC Baseball Weekly Honors: Feb. 25

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 25, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Jackson Bell (Spring Hill) and Jaelyn Rhynes (Miles) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JACKSON BELL, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Outfielder | Redshirt Senior | Mobile, Ala.
 
Bell had an outstanding week at the plate, delivering clutch performances for the Badgers. Across four games, Bell went 8-for-15 (.449) with seven runs scored, three RBIs, three doubles, and a home run. His highlight performance came in the 7-4 win over West Florida, where he went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double, and two runs scored. Bell kept his momentum, recording multiple hits in three of the four games while maintaining a disciplined approach at the plate.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JAELYN RHYNES, MILES COLLEGE
Pitcher/Infielder | Redshirt Junior | Waco, Texas
 
Rhynes threw shutout ball for eight innings before allowing a solo home run to lead off the ninth in a 4-1 win over Morehouse. He only allowed one runner to reach third before the ninth, walking one and striking out five.
