ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Men’s Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 25, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

Oshane Farquharson (
Fort Valley State) were recognized.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ISAIAH FEDD, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Junior | Apopka, Fla.
Fedd guided the Wildcats to a SIAC opening sweep, 3-0, where the Fort Valley State team hit .542 for the match. He tallied 17 kills, nine errors and 38 total attacks across two matches last week. Fedd also contributed two assists, six service aces, three block assists and four digs.
Against No. 18 Lincoln Memorial, Fedd recorded nine kills, two block assists and two digs. Against Benedict, he posted eight kills with one error on 11 attacks for a .636 hitting percentage, along with one assist, six service aces, one block assist and two digs.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BENJAMIN LATHAM, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Libero/Defensive Specialist | Junior | Jacksonville, Fla.
Latham anchored the defense this week with a standout performance, recording a season-high 21 digs. Throughout the week, he was a defensive force, leading the team with an impressive average of three digs per set.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – OSHANE FARQUHARSON, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter/Outside Hitter | Senior | Hollywood, Fla.
Farquharson helped Fort Valley State go 1-1 last week. Across two matches, he totaled four kills with no errors on seven total attacks, 21 assists, four service aces, one block assist and eight digs.
In the match at Lincoln Memorial, Farquharson contributed two kills with no errors on three attacks, 11 assists, one service ace and four digs. In the win over Benedict, he recorded two kills with no errors on four attacks, 10 assists, three service aces, one block assist and four digs.
