ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 25, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.

Allen) were recognized.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ATREONIA GARNER, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY
Guard/Forward | Sophomore | Spanaway, Wash.
Garner tallied 33 points across two games this past week to help push the Lady Panthers win streak to nine games. Garner registered 19 points on 6-of-8 (75%) shooting from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe in a win over Savannah State on Monday night followed by a 14-point, 8 rebound performance in a win over Allen on Thursday. She shot 7-for-12 (58%) in the win over the Yellow Jackets marking her third-straight game shooting above 46% from the floor. She also pulled down a total of 16 rebounds across the two games. Garner has now scored in double figures in 23 out of 26 games played this season.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – PEIGHTON JAMBOR, ALLEN UNIVERSITY
Forward | Sophomore | Moncks Corner, S.C.
Jambor averaged 11.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in Allen's three games last week. The sophomore forward recorded her second and third double-doubles of the season against Albany State and Clark Atlanta. In the Yellow Jackets' victory at Albany State, Jambor totaled 10 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks. Then three days later at CAU, Jambor scored 12 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. To close out the week, Jambor recorded her ninth game scoring double-figures, and fourth straight contest, with 12 points to help Allen sweep the regular season series against Benedict.
