ATLANTA — As the softball regular season nears its end, teams will face off in key matchups in the final three weeks for a spot in the SIAC tournament. Here's a look at this week's slate.
SPRING HILL AT LANE
Game 1: Thursday, March 27, at 2 p.m. ET
Game 2: Thursday, March 27, at 4 p.m. ET
Game 3: Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m. ET
Spring Hill (10-3 SIAC) will travel to
Lane (5-8 SIAC) for a west division series this weekend. The Badgers are coming off their first series loss of the season against Tuskegee after winning the opening game. The Dragons faced similar results last week, going 1-2 at Kentucky State. Currently, SHC is No. 2 in the west division, and LC is No. 5 in the west division.

Tuskegee (12-1 SIAC) will play
LeMoyne-Owen (3-10 SIAC) on the road in a west division series this week. The Golden Tigers' 10-game win streak against SIAC opponents ended in last week's series opener against Spring Hill, but the team quickly course corrected to win the series 2-1. The Lady Magicians were swept by Miles on the road last week, extending their SIAC losing streak to five. Currently, TU is No. 1 in the west division, and LOC is No. 6 in the west division.

The Thorobreds bested Lane 2-1 in the series last week after losing the first game. Currently, MC is No. 3 in the west division, and KSU is No. 4 in the west division.

Fort Valley State (9-9 SIAC) will travel to
Clark Atlanta (3-15 SIAC) in an east division series this weekend. The Wildcats dropped the final two games to Savannah State last week after holding them to zero in the first game. The Lady Panthers put up a season-high 17 runs in a victory over Allen in game one last week but lost the next two. Currently, FVSU is No. 3 in the east division, and CAU is No. 7 in the east division.
ALLEN AT SAVANNAH STATE
Game 1: Saturday, March 29, at 2 p.m. ET
Game 2: Saturday, March 29, at 4 p.m. ET
Game 3: Sunday, March 30, at 1 p.m. ET
Savannah State (7-8 SIAC) will host
Allen (3-9 SIAC) in an east division series this weekend. The Tigers won the road series at Fort Valley State, 2-1, last week after dropping the series opener. The Lady Yellow Jackets captured their first series win of the season against Clark Atlanta last week and put up a season-high 12 runs in the final game. Currently, SSU is No. 4 in the east division, and AU is No. 6 in the east division.
