SIAC Softball Weekly Honors: April 1

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Softball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 1, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Fort Valley State's Jennifer Ramirez and Tenison Myricks were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JENNIFER RAMIREZ, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Second Base/Shortstop | Sophomore | Buford, Ga.
Ramirez went 8-for-15 (.533) in five games last week, scoring. She scored eight runs and drove in five on a double and a triple.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – TENISON MYRICKS, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Pitcher/Outfielder | Freshman | Jenkinsburg, Ga.
Myricks tossed 15 innings, only giving up four runs on 10 hits last week. She also had 19 strikeouts and a 2-0 record.
