ATLANTA — With three weeks remaining in the baseball regular season, tensions are high with the goal of an SIAC tournament berth in sight. Here's a look at games happening this week.
EDWARD WATERS AT LANE
Game 1: Friday, April 11, at 1 p.m. ET
Game 2: Friday, April 11, at 4 p.m. ET
Game 3: Saturday, April 12, at 12 p.m. ET
Edward Waters (16-8 SIAC) will travel to
Lane (11-12 SIAC) this weekend. The Tigers took two of three from Miles last week, earning a 12-6 win in the opener and a 13-3 rout in the series finale. The Dragons are coming off a pair of victories against Kentucky State, highlighted by their first shutout of the season in Game 2. The series finale was postponed due to inclement weather. Currently, EWU is No. 3 in conference standings, and LC is No. 7.

Tuskegee (8-6 SIAC) on Friday to open its weekend series. BC came away with a 2-1 series win over Clark Atlanta last week, holding the Panthers to zero runs in the opener. Tuskegee went winless at Savannah State last week, extending its SIAC losing streak to six. Currently, BC is No. 6 in conference standings, and TU is No. 10.

Morehouse went 1-2 against Albany State last week, securing a 5-4 win in the series opener. Currently, SHC is No. 1 in conference standings, and MHC is No. 8.

Kentucky State will look to improve after being swept by Lane last week. Currently, CAU is No. 9 in the conference standings, and KSU is No. 12.

LeMoyne-Owen will look to rebound after dropping three straight to Spring Hill at home last week. Currently, SSU is No. 2 in conference standings, and LOC is No. 11.
