SIAC Baseball Weekly Honors: April 15

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 15, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Bryce Anderson (Spring Hill) and Landon Kiefer (Albany State) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BRYCE ANDERSON, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Infielder | Senior | Carterville, Ill.
Anderson delivered another strong performance in conference play in the series win over Morehouse. The senior infielder went 5-for-9 (.556) at the plate with five runs scored and two RBIs. He tallied a triple, drew a walk and was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases. Anderson had a notable weekend personally, collecting a season-high three hits in game one, followed by three runs and three stolen bases in game two.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – LANDON KIEFER, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Right-Handed Pitcher | Junior | Parrish, Fla.
Kiefer delivered a dominant performance on the mound in the series finale against Miles College, leading the Golden Rams to a shutout victory. Kiefer tossed 6.0 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits while striking out an impressive 10 batters to improve his record to 8-1 on the season. His control, poise, and power on the mound anchored the sweep and made him a clear standout.
