ATLANTA — With just two weeks left in the baseball regular season, teams are battling for coveted spots in the SIAC tournament. Here's a look at key matchups coming across the plate this week.

SPRING HILL AT BENEDICT
Game 1: Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m. ET
Game 2: Friday, April 18, at 4 p.m. ET
Game 3: Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. ET

Spring Hill (24-2 SIAC) will travel to Benedict (15-11 SIAC) this weekend. The Badgers swept Morehouse last week, extending their SIAC win streak to 13 games. Benedict went 2-1 against Tuskegee on the road, stunning the Golden Tigers with 22 runs in Game 2. Currently, SHC is No. 1 in conference standings, and BC is No. 5.

Miles (13-12 SIAC) will host LeMoyne-Owen (7-19 SIAC) this weekend. The Golden Bears suffered their first winless series at home against Albany State last week. LeMoyne-Owen notched one game in the win column against Savannah State last week, securing a close 7-6 victory in Game 2. Currently, MC is No. 6 in conference standings, and LOC is No. 11.

Albany State (17-10 SIAC) will host Kentucky State (1-24 SIAC) this weekend as the Golden Rams celebrate Senior Day. ASU enters the series riding a five-game SIAC win streak after a series sweep over Miles last week, highlighted by a 15-0 shutout in the finale. Troubles continued for Kentucky State against Clark Atlanta last week as the team's losing streak continued. Currently, ASU is No. 4 in conference standings, and KSU is No. 12.

Edward Waters (19-8 SIAC) will travel to Morehouse (10-17 SIAC) to kick off its final road series of the season. EWU secured a three-game sweep at Lane last week, highlighted by a 14-0 shutout in the closer. MHC will look to improve its position this week after a winless series at Spring Hill. Currently, EWU is No. 3 in conference standings, and MHC is No. 9.

Savannah State (20-7 SIAC) will play Clark Atlanta (12-15 SIAC) on the road this weekend. The Tigers finished 2-1 at LeMoyne-Owen last week, posting a 12-0 shutout victory to close out the series. The Panthers swept Kentucky State last week, claiming their third SIAC series victory of the season. Currently, SSU is No. 2 in conference standings, and CAU is No. 8.

Game 2: Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. ET
Game 3: Saturday, April 19, at 5 p.m. ET

Lane (11-15 SIAC) will travel south to kick off its series against Tuskegee (9-18 SIAC) on Friday. The Dragons will look to bounce back after dropping three straight to Edward Waters last week. Tuskegee also lost its series to Benedict last week but closed strong, winning 7-6 in the finale. Currently, LC is No. 7 in conference standings, and TU is No. 10.
