SIAC Women's Tennis Preview: Roundup II

ATLANTA — The women’s tennis teams will meet at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala., this week for the second SIAC Tennis Roundup. Beginning Wednesday, they will compete to determine which four teams will advance to the 2025 Cricket SIAC Tennis Championship Tournament.

Tuskegee, the reigning SIAC Women’s Tennis Champion, enters the week at No. 1 after going undefeated at the first roundup.

Albany State is No. 2, after only losing to Tuskegee in the first roundup.

Benedict secured victories against three opponents in the first roundup and followed it up with a clean sweep over Edward Waters last week to land at No. 3.

Spring Hill finished the first roundup with three wins as well, but currently sit at  No. 4.

Fort Valley State snagged one win at the first roundup and defeated Savannah State twice last week placing the team at No. 5.

Edward Waters is No. 6. The Tigers went two for six against opponents at the first roundup and picked up their third win of the season against Fort Valley State last week.
