ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 22, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.
Spring Hill's
AJ Swader and
Miles Justin were recognized.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – AJ SWADER, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Infielder | Senior | Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Swader delivered outstanding performances on the road against West Florida and Benedict. The first baseman smashed four home runs, 17 RBIs, 11 hits and two doubles in 17 at-bats. He scored seven runs, three of which came during the second game of the series against the Tigers, where he also hit two home runs. Eight of his 17 RBIs were tallied in the first game of the weekend conference series at Benedict.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – MILES JUSTIN, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Pitcher | Senior | Lafayette, La.
Justin earned the win against Benedict on Saturday after recording a career-high eight strikeouts. The senior right hander issued a single free pass, run and four hits in 5.0 innings of work.
