SIAC Baseball Weekly Honors: April 29

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 29, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. AJ Swader (Spring Hill) and Liam Prepetit (Edward Waters) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – AJ SWADER, SPRING HILL COLLEGE
Infielder | Senior | Murfreesboro, Tenn. 
Swader had another impressive week while leading the Badgers to a SIAC series win against Albany State. The redshirt junior hit .615 with an RBI, a double and two runs scored. Swader slugged .692 while holding a .706 OPS. He had two perfect outings at the plate in the conference series win over the Golden Rams.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK –  LIAM PREPETIT, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Catcher/Pitcher | Sophomore | Sanford, Fla.
Prepite had a fantastic game on the mound for the Tigers in their 13-0 victory over Clark Atlanta. Prepite tossed 5.0 innings, allowing just one hit, with no runs or earned runs. He also face 19 batters, recorded four strikeouts and only walked two batters.
