No. 6 Benedict rallies in back-to-back five-run innings in the third and forth frames to roll past No. 7 Tuskegee in Game 5 of the tournament's semifinal elimination bracket. The Tigers capitalized on errors, walks and timely hitting—including a two-run triple, multiple sacrifice bunts and a two-RBI single—to pull away in the middle innings. With the win, Benedict advances in the elimination bracket and will face the losing team of Albany State vs. Spring Hill on Saturday, May 3, at 8 a.m. ET.

Tuskegee is eliminated from tournament play.

The Golden Bears' efforts were highlighted by two-RBI doubles in the third and fourth innings, followed by a solo homer in the fifth. With the win, MC advances to the finals of the tournament's elimination bracket and will meet the loser of Savannah State vs. Edward Waters on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.

The loss ends Lane's tournament run.

No. 4 Albany State stuns top-seeded Spring Hill with a six-run opening frame and holds on to secure the upset and a spot in the tournament finals. The Golden Rams capitalized on early command struggles and added two unearned runs in the fifth to cushion the lead. ASU advances to the tournament finals and will face the winner of Savannah State vs. Edward Waters on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. ET.

Spring Hill will play Tuskegee in Game 9 of the tournament's elimination bracket on Saturday at 8 a.m. ET.

With the win, SSU advances to the finals and will meet Albany State in Game 11 on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. ET.

Edward Waters falls to the elimination bracket and will face Miles on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
